Welcome to The Harmonica Experience!
Where the focus is on YOU! Our job as your coaches is to help you with identifying your next level, and helping you achieve it and beyond in five days of intense teaching, learning, practice and jamming.
Raw Beginners: we have a strong program for you, including a pre seminar SKYPE lesson.
Advanced and Intermediates: no worries, we offer separate classes on separate levels. In addition to harping, we offer guitar lessons, bass guitar lessons, and include singing and songwriting in our curriculum.
The Harmonica Experience has evolved towards more of an emphasis on total musicality through harp playing, songwriting and singing, with tons of jamming! We really have a hands on approach to our teaching..in fact we prefer to call it coaching as we are here to help you with all aspects of your musical journey, helping you to become more confident, more rhythmic, more lyrical, more adventurous, more relaxed, and more in touch with your inner musician.

(we’ll help you with every aspect to get ready for the big show from picking your song to singing it, practicing it, and having fun getting there so that in the end you’re feeling good about your accomplishment)

We have a great student/ teacher ratio with Limited Enrollment that insures that no “child” gets left behind!

The Harmonica Experience brings together the best teachers around. We will encourage & inspire you to get to that next level with a hands on approach that includes lots of jamming, & learning by doing. And most importantly, we will help you have FUN on the journey!
Here’s some more of the nitty gritty our coaches will help you with.
We will explore group-practice, tone, embouchure, articulation, phrasing, hand techniques, tongue-blocking, 12 & 8 bar chord progressions, chugging, cross harp melody, cross harp riffs, different positions, the harp player as a singer, how to play with a band, amplification, and you will jam, jam, jam. Even if you are a complete beginner we’ll get you wailing!
In the highest, most supportive environment you can imagine, you’ll get to jam with a really great blues band several times over the course of the 5 days. Everyone gets to shine!
If you are closet player, this is your time to “come out” in a supportive environment.
