At the very least a C harp. But having a whole set of all the keys is best, especially if you want to get the maximum amount of jamming in and not be left out just because you don’t have the right key.

In addition to your harmonicas be sure to have a way to record info as we will give you a mountain of it! You’ll want to take home what you’ve learned to practice with. A simple voice recorder on your smart phone can do the trick…videos also come in handy. One of the best teachers you can have is to be able to listen back to yourself…the tape don’t lie!
We also invite you to bring your family, your friends, even your pets on this learning adventure just as long as they understand this week is all about you and your harmonica! While you’re in classes they can observe and cheer you on or go explore the area. We can help point them in the right direction with suggestions for some fun things to do around Clarksdale or take a day trip up to Memphis.
