The Shack Up Inn is located 3 miles outside of downtown Clarksdale, Mississippi. If you are flying, you will probably want to fly into Memphis, get a ride, or rent a car to drive down. We will help you to connect with other folks on sharing rides and lodging. From Memphis airport you’ll drive “The Blues Highway” (Highway 61) about an hour and a half to Clarksdale.
The Shack Up Inn has one and two bedroom shacks and bins. The facilities all have refrigerators, microwaves and some have small kitchens. If you get a two bedroom shack, and share with another camper, you can lower your rate to about $50 a night. The single shacks and “bins” are $85 on the weeknights and $95 on the weekends.
IMPORTANT: the Shack’s website will show all rooms are booked. They are reserved for The Harmonica Experience and there will be a room available for you if you sign up for our workshop, but do reserve early to be sure to secure your room.
